An experienced executive based in West Orange, New Jersey, Miguel Bermeo has served as CEO of Scimedico, LLC, for more than 16 years. He oversees credit and fraud risk management for the full-service laboratory firm, which provides preventive maintenance solutions and lab maintenance support at locations across the United States. In his executive role, Miguel Bermeo handles all operations, leading a team of 1,200 professionals in areas that include underwriting, line management, customer management, and collections.

Previously, Mr. Bermeo held several positions in revenue and risk management functions with the American Express Global Leadership Team, both in the United States and abroad. In the risk-management arena, he spent three years building fraud and credit models, as well as four years leading analytical processes supporting international markets. He also led international card and loan-lending businesses.

Outside his professional pursuits, he lends his support to health facilities including Penn Medicine and the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
